How To Set ChatGPT As The Default Voice Assistant On Android?
From design and coding to music, generative AI has invaded almost every sector. Generative AI has undeniably found its sweet spot in the stagnant voice assistant market of recent years. Many users still like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which was released initially, even if Google has begun releasing Gemini as a substitute for Google Assistant. Here is a short and easy approach to set ChatGPT as your Android voice assistant.
Make ChatGPT your go-to virtual assistant.
Just so you know, there isn’t an official method to make ChatGPT the default voice assistant on OpenAI. So, let’s get started with that. Due to this, the WSTxda program VoiceGPT is used in this post.
Start by going to the Play Store and installing the official ChatGPT app [here].
Get the APK from the Assets section of the VoiceGPT app’s GitHub page.

- We challenged these helpers to organise a vacation to Goa under 10,000 INR as a means of testing their mettle. With VoiceGPT, the assistant’s user interface was stripped down to the bare essentials, without any visual aids or text to aid in the planning process. Still, I felt like I was talking to a real person whose goal was to assist me every step of the way since the voice was so human-sounding. Considering that we requested the chatbot to suggest inexpensive hotels and activities, it handled our follow-up queries well as well. The fact that ChatGPT keeps a record of these discussions means that users may review their previous inquiries at any time.
